Kickstart your mountain-ready fitness with MTNTOUGH Gym On-Ramp. Designed for beginners, this self-guided program eliminates gym intimidation by teaching functional, dynamic movements using basic gym equipment. Perfect for aspiring mountain athletes, Gym On-Ramp builds confidence, mobility, and full-body strength over two weeks to prepare you for rugged terrain. Led by trainer Sarah Maschino through short explainer videos, each session offers technique tips and scalable movements to match your fitness level, ensuring you’re ready to hit the gym and level up.
Note: Ideal for beginners. No prior gym experience required. After this program progress to "Gym Foundation" in the entry level section of the app.
FORMAT: Self-guided workouts with video demonstrations, accessible on any device via the MTNTOUGH+ app (other programs available in the app).
DURATION: Two-week program with three workouts per week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday).
WORKOUT LENGTHS: 30-40 minutes, including warmups, mobility and strength movements, and cool downs.
GEAR: Full gym setup—barbell, dumbbells, bench, kettlebells, resistance bands, TRX strap, and stability ball (home or fitness facility).
