Workout Performance Notes
Prepare workout equipment prior to beginning the MTNTOUGH Standard Warmup.
Once the warmup is complete, begin the workout within two minutes, minimal rest necessary and water as needed.
During "The Beast", all Hunter Athletes should use athlete aspecified weight for the Thrusters and heavy athlete specified weight for the Front Rack Lunges. MTNTOUGH's recommendations are below.
If the Hunter Athlete doesn't have access to a row machine, use any machine that counts Cals. MTNTOUGH recommends either a Skierg or Assault Bike.
All Pull-ups are to be done with strict form. NO kipping at any time!
For the Beginner Hunter Athlete:
Recommended weight for Thrusters - 20 lb Dumbbells
Recommended weight for Front Rack Lunges - 50 lb Dumbbell
For the Intermediate Hunter Athlete:
Recommended weight for Thrusters - 25 lb Dumbbells
Recommended weight for Front Rack Lunges - 55 lb Dumbbell
For the Elite Hunter Athlete:
Recommended weight for Thrusters - 30 lb Dumbbells
Recommended weight for Front Rack Lunges - 60 lb Dumbbell
