Welcome to MTNTOUGH's August Fitness Challenge. You will need a ruck backpack and a kettlebell. Males will need 50lb and 16kg respectively, females will need 30lb and 12kg. This is an elite-level workout, so ensure you've been doing MTNTOUGH for a few months or have a high degree of functional exercise maturity before attempting.
The workout is as follows.
You need a framed pack, rucksack or hunting pack, and a kettlebell
Men: 50lb ruck + 16kg kettlebell
Women: 30lb ruck + 12kg kettlebell
CRUX
Complete one time through for time:
Ruck - 1 mile: w/ ruck + kettlebell
Step-ups - 100 total: w/ ruck + kettlebell
Ruck - 2 miles: w/ ruck
Goblet Squats - 200: w/ kettlebell
Run - 3 miles: No additional weight
Walking Lunges - 300 total: No additional weight
