I really enjoy the kettlebell workouts - and look forward to the sandbag ones as a next step.
The fluidity of simple gear that attacks the area being worked out (isolated) shreds perfectly - but not so bad that I can't control it by lightening the weight so I can still get other activities (like running/hiking) in.
I started this program to make me strong enough to run harder, and in only a week I can feel the results. I'll be ready for Leadville in August, no doubt.
As for recovery - I'm smoked just before the last event is to start and wanting to quit. I may even hit pause for a moment - and have pushed my heart rate to 168 at times. But, by the next day - I'm ready to be abused again... so sounds pretty well done to me!
