Hey All, I missed yesterday's MGD workout because it wasn't available, and heard this morning that a backpack is recommended for the rest of this MGD program (Bullet Proof? or maybe just Bullet?). Based on the guidance this morning (30% of bodyweight), I'll need a weighted pack to 70 pounds.

I have several, but was curious what would be best for training. I'd prefer not to get some of my packs sweaty and smelling for training. Should I plan to use a pack with a frame in it?

I haven't used a pack for training before, so any help or info would be appreciated.

I was using my hunting pack Eberlestock X2, for a bit with sandbags for the 45-70 & Heavey Pack 2.0. I switched to the GoRuck Rucker 4.0 now. I put a 20# plate and 50# of sandbags in it. It's easier to use than my hunting pack was, more handles and the straps don't get in the way. Use what you have to save some $$.
