I'm new here and trying to plan out the blocks. I'm coming from powerlifting/strongman so we have all the weird gear, it's just not laid out in a way that seems practical.

Generally we have deadlifts, strongman gear(think sand bags, atlas stones, etc.), and Olympic lifts in one room and the next room over is squats, dumbbells, benches. A hallway then separates these two rooms from the cardio and nautilus equipment rooms.
The furthest travel and most headache with other gym goers are blocks that would mix barbell work with nautilus.

Any ideas how to deal with this without pissing off everyone?

I usually come at that from the opposite direction, but maybe this is helpful. I've got a garage weightlifting gym with one squat rack / olympic bar setup, along with adjustable bench, a full set of dumbbells, etc. So my problem is when there are two barbell exercises in one set - e.g. deadlift and bench. I don't want to have to change it out every time b/c it would take forever. So that day I'll do barbell deadlift and dumbbell bench, then work barbell bench on another day when chest isn't combined with another barbell exercise.

In your situation, I might just say 'ok, today I'm doing nautilus / barbell / whatever' substitute for that exercise so I don't have to walk a mile in between them.

I've got another exercise room in the house with assault bike, rowing machine, elliptical. If a set asks for mixing assault bike with stuff I'd do in the garage gym, I've got a physical stair climber thing in the garage I'll substitute for the assault bike. Same basic thing. Probably not perfect, but gets the same basic work in and keeps me from wasting a ton of time walking back and forth.

I agree with Marcus's advice to be flexible with the order and layout of the workout blocks and even exercises within those blocks. Not ideal but you'll still get a great workout. I started at a Planet Fitness with the gym foundation program and then moved to a local 24hr Fitness when I needed a sled, assault bike, deadlift racks, etc. I try to be as courteous as possible when super setting but I'm sure people get upset when I'm jumping between equipment. I'm somewhat lucky that our gym has ample dumbbells so I usually grab the set I need and go to the assault bike/rower/ski erg area and use them there instead of returning to the dumbbell rack. Not ideal but I think people understand when they see you are drenched in sweat, not resting between sets, and pushing your limits.

Thanks guys. I talked to the owner and he's okay with me relocating cardio equipment for my work out. So, it looks like I'm going to be moving into the hallway most days.
