Does anyone have experience using MTNTOUGH while on the carnivore diet? I have been going strong on this diet for about 50 days and am loving how I am feeling physically and mentally. I have also lost the extra 15-20 pounds of fat I had acquired in the last couple of years.
I want to make sure that I am fueling my body correctly while on such a demanding workout program. Is there a recommendation for carnivore diet macros and calories while using MTNTOUGH?
FWIW, I just started STC 2.0, but prior to that I had been doing Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai on a carnivore diet. For the high intensity stuff, like repeat sparring or rolling rounds, I found that I ran out of gas too quickly. So, I added jasmine white rice back to my diet. That helped with gas tank, although I did notice some minor increase in joint inflammation/muscle soreness. So far on STC 2.0, I've been ok without the carbs, but I'm also not going into that +90% of max heart rate territory, which is where I notice the real need for more carbs in the diet. Hope this helps.
