Hey all, I'm new to the MTNTOUGH world and figuring out my strategy. I am working my way through the Full Gym On Ramp. I am a busy single dad who can get to the gym 2 days a week usually. I am wondering if people have had success mixing full gym work outs with minimal gear at home work outs. I.e. Does it make sense to hit a gym day one and a at home day two etc. I am looking at getting into a longer program as I progress and need a gym/home mix strategy. Thanks!

Ultimately, you will have the most success sticking to a program that works for you and your schedule. I do believe that you could successfully combine a gym program with a minimal gear program at home. You might be better off prioritizing your strength workouts on days that you can utilize the gym equipment and then use the minimal gear days for your conditioning. The only challenge with this approach would be that you may hit the same muscle groups on back to back days since the programs will be different in their progressions. However, I still believe that you will see great results by combining the gym and minimal gear programs. Let me know if you have any other questions!
