I struggle with the pullups. Are there any alternative exercises that i can do until i dont struggle with pullups?

Do inverted rows with your pack/vest on if possible. Can add an additional 2-5 reps depending on level of fitness.
1. The kettlebell snatch improves pullups though it doesn't look like it would. Even 'the science' has looked into that.
2. In the military I would lie on the bottom bunk of metal bunk beds. There was a horizontal bar and I would pull up on that, like an upside down pushup but pulling.
3. Total Gym or similar machine where you can do the same motion but with only part of your body weight.
inverted rows or Australian pull ups is what they are called, good exercise for range of motion and building up to a pullup
