I did not come into "Mountain Tough" to see Yoga, a pagan spiritual practice, as the first program. An immediate big turn-off for multiple reasons. You can cancel my trial subscription, since you have apparently made it impossible for me to cancel it myself until after the promo period.
Thank you for sharing your perspective with us. We truly respect your viewpoint, and we appreciate the chance to explain our own experience.
Dustin found yoga after his doctor recommended it as a way to avoid surgery for his back pain. Through consistent practice, yoga played a key role in helping him heal and improve his mobility, ultimately saving his life. As a devout Christian and a dedicated family man, Dustin believes that God’s guidance can be found in many places, including practices that focus on physical health and well-being. Yoga has been an essential part of that journey.
We understand that some forms of yoga have spiritual roots, and while we respect that, the style of yoga we practice—MTNTOUGH Yoga—is primarily a fitness training routine, not a spiritual practice. It's about strength, mobility, and functional movement. Many of the exercises we use come from science-based studies that have incorporated yoga movements to improve physical therapy, warm-ups, cool-downs, and overall training.
We feel that learning from and adapting certain practices, like those in yoga, doesn’t conflict with our Christian values. It’s all about the intention behind it—focusing on taking care of the body and maintaining good health. We encourage you to try a workout and see for yourself. We truly believe it could be a positive experience, just as it has been for Dustin.
