I've been part of MTNTOUGH for about 6 months, and I love it. The focus on the whole person - mind+body+soul - is just where I want to be.

I do have a request, though, and I'm wondering if there are others out there like me. I'm 50+ with a full time job and a family, and the Preseason Prep 50+ is in my sweet spot. I can do some of the harder programs, but then I'm devastated for the rest of the day. On the other hand, some of the easier on-ramp/mobility stuff isn't quite challenging enough.

Anyone else out there want to see more 50+ content? Could we see ole Randy suffer through some more programs with us?

Im right there with you, felt great in mountians after Preseason Prep 50+, loved the coached program, started Post Season Strength 2.0 and its kicking my butt!

After I finished that program (and since work/school/holidays/hunting season has ramped up), I've been occasionally doing the minimal gear daily and other days repeating some workouts from PP50+. I think if we had one more in-season or off-season program for the olds, we'd be good!

New to the MTNTOUGH+ site and just hit 59 y.o. a few months ago. I'm starting to find my way around the site but would definitely jump into a 50+ setting.

Ditto on more 50+ content. And maybe a little bit of "you tweaked this? Here's how to care for it" 50+-type content to go with the series that starts off with the ice bath... though that could stop my heart if I tried.

I am almost 50 sounds weird saying that. but anyways, i opted to rehab my minuscus instead of surgery and would like this also.

I'm new. Just doing the 2 week intro and agree with seeing more things for "masters" athletes or some scaled versions of the exercises. I've been training a long time and can scale for myself, but I'm sure others would benefit from it.

I want to lead with I love the completeness of MtnTough and just finished the OG post season (16 weeks). Although I was able to get through the workouts pretty well I did find myself teetering on being overtrained all the time. I am planning a 4 day backpacking trip into the Grand Canyon in September, love rucking, play some hockey and want to stay in the best shape I can (I'm 60) all well acknowledging that being 60 takes longer to recover. I will try the 50+ workout but agree that having more programs for the more mature generation is a good thing.

One more question would be should I consider using the beginner weight/rep schemes for some of the other workouts as way to "scale" the intensity?

In my 50s and a member for just over two years. MGDs are just exactly perfect except for the plyos. I need to be very careful with lunge jumps and bench plyos. Last time I hurt my cranky knee, it took a year to get it back to 90%.

I'm only 46, but I've had a lot of injuries from my time in special operations. And, I tend not to recover all that well given that I don't sleep all that great from my military experiences. Even if there's not a specialized version of the backcountry hunter series, it would be great to have some generalized guidance on how to scale the programs in the backcountry hunter series.

Y to 50+ content. I'm over 50 and am finding the very entry level programs to be a godsend. For me, these are the perfect amount of challenge and in a doable amount of time. I was in ok shape before COVID and noticed a distinct change since the jab -- exertion has been terrifying and I have slid to a place of inability and weight gain I never thought I'd see. These basic workouts are helping me build confidence through truly purposeful fitness results. I have a strength and stability through my hips and core that I don't think I've ever had. I'm a long way from the more advanced programs but I love to see that this can be a journey.
