Welcome to MTNTOUGH's June Fitness Challenge: Monument Peak! Designed for military personnel, wildland firefighters, and mountain athletes, this intense workout is perfect for those on the road this Summer, and will test your mental toughness willpower. All you need is your pack or ruck, loaded with 60 lbs for males and 40 lbs for females.
The workout is as follows.
MONUMENT PEAK
Block 1: With the pack on your back
High Plank for a total of 10 minutes.
Every break, you must perform 20 total walking lunges with your pack still on.
Block 2: With the pack on your lap
Wall Sit for a total of 10 minutes.
Every break, you must run 1/4 mile without the pack, and perform 20 lunge jumps without the pack.
That's it! You're done.
